Who, apart from Sue Davey (first left) might remember the figures in the photograph below?  It was taken during a Residents' Association meeting at the Civic Centre around 1990.  
Formerly a WERA Committee Secretary Sue retired from front line duties but continues to act as a Warden for Boxers Lake.  
Raising his glass is Albert Slack, then Chairman.  Sitting opposite is likely to be Mrs. Slack.  Here the speculation begins: 
Perhaps the lady seated in the right foreground is Mrs. Porter while the photograph was taken by the elusive Editor of the Newsletter, Tom Porter himself?
